Claims to be user's own work, I think, but copies of it can be found all over the web - eg see this search http://www.tineye.com/search/9512090bdcf032819216260521c1eb231ee3df84/ -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:08, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Note, uploader has now changed it to specify the author as "Chinese Internet", so it's clearly not suitably licensed -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 14:14, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Due to users history, I don't doubt that this is a copyright violation. Not as blatant as File:Mig 37B though. Current link does not appear to be the copyright owners. Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:27, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Question. Do we have a similar image search tool? That would be very useful for cases like this. Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:57, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- As an aside, I actually searched for the image using the source URL (as stated in the upload), but if I search using the Wikipedia URL I get several more hits - http://www.tineye.com/search/151308ac2802675232a50113712f1658bcf861e5/ (And I've just spotted they now have a right-click search extension for Firefox - I'm going to give that a try) -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:07, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This non-free image is merely decorative. It is not used in an article about the sculpture, nor it actually discuss the features of the sculpture itself. Cambalachero (talk) 14:47, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- weak
delete, see my comment on the case below. This image would easily be legitimate in the artist article if the text were expanded to contain at least a minimal amount of descriptive commentary about the artist's style, because such descriptions are typically in legitimate need of illustration, but in this case (unlike the one below) even that minimum of coverage is unfortunately currently missing. Fut.Perf. ☼ 17:22, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]- changed per expansion of article. Fut.Perf. ☼ 12:01, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also a weak deleteI would support re-adding this image later if any context were given in an article (like was mentioned earlier). Otherwise, it needs to go. — BQZip01 — talk 20:47, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]- Keep now — BQZip01 — talk 08:38, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep, an image of a representative work illustrating an artist's style is generally useful in articles about artists, and justifiable as long as there's at least a minimum of descriptive commentary about that art style in the text. In this case, the article is admittedly not much above that minium (the text is quite short and the description of the style and nature of his works could be a lot more specific), but I'd say it's just enough.
